Reviews and Ratings
I just returned from a stag do and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Although the previous reviews had me worried, I found the room to be clean and tidy, and the true standout was our landlady, Donna, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic. On the downside, I've learned from friends who stayed during a different time that some rooms may not be up to the same standard, with cleanliness issues and unaddressed concerns noted. It seems like it could be a real gamble depending on which room you get.
This budget hotel offers a good full English breakfast and a friendly owner who goes out of her way to help guests. While the rooms may not be the cleanest, they are spacious enough for groups, and the 24-hour bar is a fun perk. However, prepare for some issues with cleanliness and maintenance during off-peak seasons.
I had mixed feelings about my stay. The breakfast was fantastic and the atmosphere was lively, perfect for our group outing. But the room we got was in desperate need of cleaning and maintenance, which was disappointing. Overall, it's a good budget option if you're looking for a party vibe, but don’t expect top-notch cleanliness.
I stayed at this hotel expecting a budget-friendly option, and while I did get that, the experience was less than ideal. The rooms needed some serious TLC, as they were quite dirty and not very well maintained. However, the breakfast was surprisingly hearty and enjoyable, and the owner, Donna, was friendly and accommodating, which helped soften the experience.
While the hotel offers an incredibly affordable price point, the facilities left much to be desired. The atmosphere is lively, which may appeal to group travelers, but the cleanliness of the rooms and communal areas were problematic. The breakfast was praised, promising a hearty start to the day, yet concerns over hygiene overshadowed the experience.
